First we stopped on The Veranda for coffee to warm us up. The Veranda is right under the Empress sign at the front of the hotel.  There are great views of the inner harbour and the Parliament Buildings.   They have overhead heaters and nice cuddly blue blankets to wrap yourself in.  Honestly, I just had two coffees.
