The man who parked next to us was in the bear clan and told me that both the eagle and the bear were his protectors.  I have many shots of him getting his full regalia on, dancing, and drumming.  Only on the second day did he wear the bear and do a special dance.  Several men came up to him and touched the bear claw.  I heard one man say that even though it was extremely hot and he was sweating, he got chills and goose bumps when he touched the claws.
